Torah Ark

This is a portable Torah Ark designed especially for a Jewish retirement community in Philadelphia. It is cherry with maple striping and inlay. Bi-fold doors open to reveal up to three Torah. The interior is lined with red velvet. Details include the symbolism of ten stripes on the doors to signify the ten commandments, and the cutaway on the top center indicates the location of the Ner Tamid, or eternal light.
